Inland Revenue and ACC – Cheque Payments No Longer Accepted
Inland Revenue and ACC have indicated that from 1 March 2020 they will no longer accept payments by cheque, from customers who are able to use an alternative payment option. There are various other options for making payments, including:

Electronic payment via internet banking,

By debit or credit card over the phone,

Cash or EFTPOS are still payment options, but only at Westpac Branches.

They’re not accepted at Inland Revenue or ACC offices,

Direct debit in myIR (Inland Revenue) or MyACC for Business (ACC),

By monthly instalments via MyACC for Business, for ACC payments due.
At this stage Inland Revenue and ACC have not clearly indicated under what circumstances they will still accept cheques
